Policy on Refunds
I understand that all fees paid for The Event are non-refundable for any reason.
You may not give or sell your number to another individual outside of the authorized transfer policy and process – if you do, this will result in disqualification and banishment from this event. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected business or family emergency, illness, pregnancy, etc. There are NO exceptions.
Once you register, unrecoverable racecourse services and items are paid for you as if you will be attending the event. We reserve the right to postpone or cancel because of weather, natural disaster, governmental or court order or any other reason. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. We may also alter the courses and distances at any time if required due to course blockages or other restrictions or impediments. If possible, the event will be postponed and your entry will be transferred to a new date. There will be no fee refunds for a postponed or canceled event.
I have raced all over Canada and only once in the US (Wisconsin IM) and now that we live here in St. Paul we were looking for a kick off race for 2019 and yours did not disappoint!
You are very well organized, I loved the updates, instructions and all your voluntolds/teers were genuine in helping out and ensuring a positive experience for all. LOVE the merch and the location too!
We are looking forward to Get in Gear again this year. Thank you to you and the entire GiG team, as it is ALWAYS an amazing experience. We don’t get to come every year, but I’ve participated in several with my kids, passing along the excitement of the Get in Gear since I ran it several times before I had any children. We love the course, the atmosphere, the organization of the event, and (of course!) the food!
