Time Limit
3 hours from starting gun – roads reopen to vehicle traffic at 12 pm.

Walkers and strollers are NOT allowed in this event.
Elite Athletes
Runners that have met the guidelines for a comp or seeded entry based on their previous year’s performance in the Get in Gear 10K are invited elite athletes for the current year’s race.
There is limited space in the elite corral; respond early to ensure you are able to be placed.
Comp Entry: Pre-designated athletes invited to be assigned a number in the elite corral with their entry fee waived.
Seeded Entry: Pre-designated athletes invited to be assigned a number in the elite corral who must pay the entry fee for the race.
Designated athletes will receive an invitation via email to register for the current year’s 10K by February 2021. These invitations are good for the named runner only; use by another participant is not allowed.

Athletes that have a record of performance in the past year showing potential to break a Get in Gear course record request seeded status by completing a Seeded Number Request by Friday, April 16, 2021. You will be contacted with the status of your request.

Start Line
The start line is located near the boulevard. Elite athletes (those with bibs numbered 1-50 and F1-50) line up at the front; all other participants line up behind the corral divider. Slower participants should line up behind faster participants.
Course Description
USATF-certified course

Get in Gear 10K (6.2 miles)
- Start on West River Parkway.
- North on West River Parkway to Lake Street Bridge.
- East across Bridge into St. Paul.
- South on East Mississippi River Blvd to Ford Bridge.
- West to cross Ford Bridge into Minneapolis.
- Finish line on Godfrey Road adjacent to Minnehaha Park.
