Get in Gear Events

Charitable Partners

Get in Gear is committed to support worthy causes in addition to our mission to provide the community with well-organized runs for both adults and children.

A brief history of our support:

  • 2005-2018: Get in Gear partnered with Second Harvest Heartland as a first time donation partner. Total donations during this time period were $145,000. We are proud of the 14 year partnership with Second Harvest Heartland and continue to support efforts to fight child hunger in our community and beyond.
  • 2018-current: Get in Gear is partners with Girls On The Run Twin Cities. Participants generously donated and GOTR Twin Cities received $5,000.
  • 2019-current: Get in Gear is partners with Minnesota military AUSA ROTC to help support cadets as they train to be in leadership.

It is our hope that participants and corporations will join with us in supporting these worthy causes as we continue to explore the avenues of support.

The Get in Gear also reaches into the community by offering a $500.00 charitable donation to any community groups or school groups looking for a fundraising opportunity by volunteering for our event. The Get in Gear has proudly contributed to the following list of community groups with a charitable donation and/or offering discounts for group participation.
