Virtual Event Information
At this time, we are planning to conduct the 2021 event as a virtual event. The permissions and protocol that would allow us to launch a physical, in-person event has not yet been determined by state and local authorities.
We do hope to convert to a hybrid event and welcome a field of participants in person. We will communicate the details regarding our 2021 Virtual Get in Gear as they are developed regarding the shirt, swag, bib number, finisher certificates and age group results that will be part of your registration fee for the 2021 Get in Gear.

The virtual event will be conducted for the 5K, 10K, 10 Mile and Half Marathon events. The Fun Run will not be conducted as a virtual event.

There will be an in person packet pickup for all virtual Get in Gear registrants to pick up your t-shirt and your custom mask. Packets may be picked up for others when shown text or e-mail proof of permission given to the person picking up for them.
Pickup will be on the following dates and times at the St. Paul Run N Fun store:
Saturday, April 17, 12 pm – 5 pm
Sunday, April 18, 12 pm – 4 pm
Run N Fun will give a pair of socks for any purchase made while picking up your packet. The items you will receive will be a short sleeve limited edition Get in Gear shirt and a custom face mask.

Option to have your packet mailed to you can be found on Race Roster store. There will be a nominal fee of $5.00 (+handling and fees) to cover the cost of mailing. All packets that are mailed will be mailed the week after April 24.
A digital bib number will be sent to you and it is your option to download and print this for your virtual Get in Gear run.

Completing Your Virtual Event
You will run the route of your choosing to complete your virtual distance. This could be around your house, a nearby lake, a favorite running trail or a local track. Please follow safe COVID guidelines as communicated by state and local authorities and health departments regarding gathering with additional people.
There are no timing chips for the virtual events; you will time yourself with a personal device (GPS watch, phone, stopwatch).
We ask that our virtual participants do not run the course on April 24 at the same time that our in person race is being held between the hours of 8:00 am and 11:00 am. Please be mindful to help reduce crowding and help us be in compliance with our permit guidelines.
Submitting Your Results
You will be receiving an email from Mtec, our timing and scoring partner, that will provide you with the link to submit your virtual Get in Gear event results. The timeline for this will start on Saturday, April 10 and end on Saturday, April 24. The scoring will be done after April 24 to determine age graded results that will be posted.
