Corporate Challenge Eligibility, Awards & Registration Information

This healthy competition will foster employee camaraderie, support your company’s health and wellness goals and allow participants to compete for our Summit Orthopedics Corporate Challenge awards.

• All companies with a minimum of 5 employees registered are eligible for the corporate age group awards as individuals. In order for a company to be eligible for the Summit Orthopedics Corporate Challenge awards, a team must have a minimum of 3 males and 3 females in any of our 3 timed events to be able to be tabulated as either the fastest team or the highest percentage.

• All corporate team members must be paid employees (or legitimate retired from same company) to be eligible.

• All corporate teams must have one designated team captain (team captain also being one of the participants). Once the team captain registers, then all team members can register and join the corporate team.

• There is no extra cost to participate in the corporate challenge division.

• Corporate results will be posted on our results page with the overall results and awards will be sent out before the end of May.

Corporate team challenge awards will be presented post-event after official results are finalized as follows

The top male and top female in the following five age groups, in each of the timed races (5k, 10k and ˝ marathon) will be awarded. Age Groups; 29 and Under, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 and Over

The results will be tabulated by scoring your corporate top 3 males and top 3 females that placed in any of the respective timed events (5k, 10k and ˝ marathon) and they will be assigned their official placement number. The 6 placement numbers will be added together and that sum will be the corporate team’s official score. The company that has the lowest total score will be awarded the Fastest Team plaque and receives 5 free entries to next year's Get In Gear races.

The results will be tabulated by dividing the total number of employees of the local corporation who finish the race by the total number of employees of the same corporation. This total will be provided on the corporate registration page. The company with the highest percentage will be awarded the highest participation team plaque and receives 5 free entries to next year's Get In Gear races.
